Document Control Clerk - Medix : Job Details

Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented individual looking for an immediate opportunity in document management? We're seeking a temporary Document Control Clerk to join our team in Irvine, CA for a 3-month project. If you have a knack for accuracy and enjoy working in a structured environment, this role is for you! This is an on-site position, Monday to Friday, with flexible start times between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM. Opportunities for overtime and weekend work may be available but are not required. What You'll Do: As a Document Control Clerk, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our documentation systems and ensuring data integrity. Your responsibilities will include:

• Retrieving, scanning, and archiving documents from various sources into our computer system, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Scheduling and coordinating document pickups from offsite storage for internal customers.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Document Control library.
• Accurately maintaining all internal and external document logs.
• Managing the outside document destruction process.
• Prioritizing documents, adhering to Good Documentation Practices, and meeting deadlines for scanned documents.
• Serving as a backup for routing documents in the document control system.
• Assisting with internal and external audits, providing support to Quality Systems and Regulatory departments.
• Strictly following SOPs, policies, and FDA Good Documentation Practices.
• Performing other duties as assigned to support department activities.

What You'll Bring:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Proven experience with data entry, filing, and scanning.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Basic organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work positively and collaboratively with others.
• Demonstrated ability to work accurately, follow instructions, adhere to schedules/timelines, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
