The Docketing Coordinator will report to the Managing Clerk and provide comprehensive litigation calendaring services across regional offices and the firm. Responsibilities include overseeing calendaring processes, ensuring quality assurance, and maintaining compliance with calendaring policies to prevent missed deadlines.Responsibilities Independently calendar firm litigation, including deadlines and scheduled events.Manage case docketing in the Compulaw system, especially for California courts; experience with Compulaw is preferred but other calendaring software experience will be considered.Assist in administering department databases, conduct training, and present on docketing systems and policies.Recommend improvements to docketing and calendaring practices.Follow all calendaring procedures and respond to inquiries from attorneys and staff regarding deadlines and court procedures.Research court rules and procedures to advise attorneys and staff.Review filing documents for compliance with relevant rules.Ensure familiarity with federal, state, and local court rules.Qualifications BA degree or equivalent experience; paralegal certification preferred.At least three years of experience in a docketing or litigation support role.Experience with rules-based calendaring software, especially Compulaw.Proven ability to docket deadlines in California courts.Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe PDF.Willing to work overtime as needed.The annual salary range is $70,000–$90,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
