The Illinois Department of Corrections is seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented, and energetic individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant I. Working under the general direction of the Warden, this position will serve as the Facility Review Control Officer. The right candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating changes in administrative directives, institutional directives, and institutional procedures. Primary duties include ensuring compliance with Departmental and facility policies and procedures, which entails assigning current policy reviews to staff, conducting assessments of those reviewed policies to ensure compliance, and assigning corrective action to those areas that need improvement.
