The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and will be able to work in fast-paced office setting shared with other departmental staff. We invite all qualified applicants to apply.Essential Functions* Serves as Writ/Medical Furlough Coordinator for the institution, preparing and keyboarding paperwork and coordinating transportation needs with the Shift Commanders Office, ensuring that appropriate schedules are adhered to.* Monitors to ensure that grade demotions/restorations are properly calculated on the grade card and that the demotions are entered into Offender 360.* In the absence of the Office Coordinator, ensures that awards of any sentencing credit, revocation/restorations, and Earned Program Sentence Credit and Earned Discretionary Sentence Credit are appropriately calculated.* Assists in the maintenance of records to include filing, recording of various reports/documents and data in each master record file.* Composes responses to inquiries applying knowledge of record office processes and procedures.* In the absence of the Office Coordinator, Prisoner Review Board Liaison, schedules the appearances of individuals before the Prisoner Review Board.* In the absence of the Office Coordinator, monitors that revocation requests are processed and forwarded to the appropriate personnel for signature and properly broken down and sent to Inmate Issues.* Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.Minimum Qualifications* Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of high school and two (2) years of office experience.* Requires ability to keyboard accurately at 45 words per minute.Conditions of Employment* Requires ability to pass the IDOC/IDJJ background check.* Requires ability to pass a drug screen.
