DM45 Drill Operator - Turner Mining Group : Job Details

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drill Operator to operate a DM45 at a mining site near Bullhead City, AZ. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of heavy equipment operation experience, with specific expertise in drilling in mining or similar high-production environments. This is a critical role in supporting daily site operations and ensuring material is moved safely and efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Operate a DM45 drill in a safe, efficient, and productive mannerPerform daily equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenanceAccurately follow production and safety protocolsCommunicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and other equipment operatorsRecognize and report mechanical issues promptlyMaintain clean work areas and contribute to overall site housekeepingWork in various weather and environmental conditionsQualifications:Minimum 8 years of experience operating drills (preferably DM45 or similar) in a mining or heavy construction environmentStrong understanding of mining safety practices and MSHA regulationsAbility to perform equipment walkarounds and document findingsHigh school diploma or GED requiredValid driver's licenseMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background checkPreferred Attributes:MSHA certification (current or previous)Strong mechanical aptitudeAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent time management and organizational skills
