Job Description: Your Piece of the Puzzle
NFM's Division Merchandising Manager focuses on relationships, negotiation, and processes with vendors, marketing, and visual display teams. Responsibilities include managing merchandising and buying teams and leading process improvements.
Job Duties: A Day in the Life
- Support: Coach and train staff, review performance, and ensure responsibilities are met.
- Direct: Manage marketing strategies, planning, budgets, and communication with advertising teams.
- Research: Stay updated on industry trends and product advancements.
- Coordinate: Develop goals with vendors for sales growth, gross margin, and inventory turns.
- Develop: Improve systems to enhance customer experience through product presentation.
- Negotiate: Establish buying practices, vendor relationships, and compliance.
- Demand: Manage inventory flow and pricing strategies daily.

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Must be onsite in Omaha, NE.
- 6-10 years in a leadership role managing a large, multi-category business.
- 6 years of supervisory/management experience overseeing a buying team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to explore alternatives and reach outcomes aligned with company goals.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Moderate travel (20-40%).
- Availability for night, weekend, or early morning hours as needed.
