Title: Estimating Manager

White Rock Iron, a growing company with over 55 years of experience in structural steel fabrication and professional welding services, is seeking an experienced full-time Structural Steel Estimator to join our team in Delta, BC. We serve commercial and industrial clients throughout the Lower Mainland and are committed to high-quality service and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare detailed estimates for structural and miscellaneous metals projects.
• Reviewing project plans and specifications to confirm scope accuracy and developing clear scope descriptions for clients.
• Maintaining current pricing from suppliers and managing tender schedules to ensure timely submissions.
• Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in structural steel detailing and/or construction estimating.
• At least 5 years of experience in structural steel estimation and fabrication.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Presto, and Outlook.
• Valid driver's license.
