Our Edgerton facility plays a key role in our supply chain—handling large-scale distribution, assembly, and shipping operations. We're seeking a motivated and highly organized Warehouse Supervisor to help lead our team toward continued excellence and growth.

🛠️ Role Overview

As Warehouse Supervisor, you'll oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient handling of materials and products. You'll lead, coach, and develop a team of warehouse associates to meet productivity, quality, and safety targets. You'll also contribute to process improvements and maintain strict compliance with company and regulatory standards.

🌟 Key Responsibilities

Operations & Productivity

  • Coordinate inbound, outbound, picking, packing, staging, and shipping of goods.
  • Monitor workflow, manage staffing levels, balance workloads, and adjust priorities to meet customer demands.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs)—accuracy, throughput, inventory turnover, order lead time—and implement action plans for continuous improvement.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, schedule, and evaluate warehouse staff (typically 10–30 associates).
  • Foster a positive workplace culture, promote teamwork, and recognize high performance.
  • Address performance issues promptly, escalate when necessary, and encourage growth through training opportunities.

Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce warehouse safety protocols (PPE, OSHA, forklift, fire exits, hazard communication).
  • Conduct regular safety audits, walkthroughs, and toolbox talks.
  • Maintain compliance with environmental and regulatory standards; lead incident investigations and corrective actions.

Inventory Management

  • Oversee inventory processes: cycle counts, reconciliations, damage/expiration surveillance.
  • Investigate discrepancies and collaborate with procurement/quality teams to resolve issues.

Process Improvement & Maintenance

  • Identify bottlenecks, propose and lead process optimization projects (layout, equipment utilization, system improvements).
  • Coordinate routine maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklifts, conveyors, PIT).
  • Work with Engineering/Maintenance teams for facility upgrades and layout adjustments.

Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate records: shipments, receipts, damages, and returns.
  • Generate daily/weekly KPI and inventory reports; present insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Assist with budget planning, cost analysis, and resource planning for warehouse operations.

✅ Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, industrial management, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead position.
  • Proven ability to manage logistics processes—receiving, storage, shipping, inventory control, and cycle counting.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience coaching teams, managing performance, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and computerized inventory systems.
  • Solid analytical aptitude and comfort using Excel or other reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across departments.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including occasional nights/weekends when necessary.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, operate industrial equipment, and stand/walk for extended periods in a warehouse setting.

🌱 Preferred Qualifications

  • Forklift or PIT certification.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Exposure to 3PL or contract manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of OSHA compliance and standards enforcement.
  • Previous experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).

🎁 What We Offer

  • Comprehensive benefits package: health, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) with company match.
  • Paid time off (vacation, sick leave, holidays).
  • Professional development and growth opportunities within a stable, expanding organization.
  • A robust culture of safety, respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
