Blue Line Distribution, the in-house distributor for Little Caesars Pizza, has been family owned and operated for over 50 years. We are dedicated to leading in customized and innovative food service logistics with safety as a top priority. We are now hiring for a DC Director at our facility in Lacey, Washington.

As the Distribution Center Director, you will be responsible for the operation and staff of the distribution center to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability. You will hire, train, develop, and evaluate the performance of branch management and hourly colleagues. You will manage the customer service aspects of the business and the flow of inbound & outbound products, including promotional, small wares, and related products. Ensuring adherence to all company policies as well as all state and federal laws is essential.

• Pay range for position is $100,000-120,000 annually.
• Manage customer service aspects of the business, ensure clean deliveries, conduct customer satisfaction surveys, and provide feedback and goals to staff.
• Monitor the flow of scheduled inbound products, review purchase orders, troubleshoot overdue orders, and assist with inventory management.
• Hire, onboard, and train drivers, warehouse, and office staff, aiming for low turnover.
• Demonstrate leadership through communication, delegation, performance evaluation, and positive reinforcement. Conduct performance reviews and driver ride-alongs annually, and warehouse visits bi-weekly.
• Coordinate payroll, unemployment, workers compensation, disability, and other personnel matters. Develop and monitor budgets and sales figures.
• Maximize truck and labor utilization by establishing routes, maintaining processing times, and scheduling staff according to set labor hours.
• Maintain a safe, secure work environment compliant with government laws, DOT, FDA, OSHA, and company policies. Ensure proper use of XATA hardware and accident report procedures. Aim for an excellent branch rating from Quality Assurance and AIB.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field, with at least five (5) years of managerial experience in transportation/warehouse industry, or eight (8) years of equivalent managerial experience.
• Strong understanding of DOT, FDA, OSHA, CSA compliance, and company policies, with enforcement ability.
• Four years of experience in food service distribution industry.
• Excellent communication skills, with leadership and motivational abilities.
• Experience forecasting and managing operating budgets, and communicating variances.
