Overview
Position: Assistant Store Manager
Compensation: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Location: Must live in or near Eagle/Vail, Colorado to qualify for this position
We are a rapidly growing company specializing in premium recreational cannabis and related products. Our retail locations operate from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, seven days a week. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining compliance with Colorado state laws, and cultivating a passionate and knowledgeable team.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all Colorado marijuana laws and local/state regulations.
- Lead by example and foster a professional, welcoming, and inclusive store environment.
- Maintain a clean, well-organized, and well-stocked store that prioritizes customer experience.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and continued training of new team members.
- Provide real-time coaching, feedback, and development opportunities for associates.
- Assist with scheduling, inventory management, and opening/closing duties.
- Resolve customer and employee issues using sound judgment and professionalism.
- Monitor and report on store performance, ensuring follow-through on objectives and goals.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager on promotions, team engagement, and operational improvements.
Qualifications
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid Colorado MED Employee Badge.
- Prior experience in retail or team management is strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in or willing to learn Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Strong understanding of customer service principles and retail operations.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Reliable transportation to and from the store.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform light physical labor during restocking or store maintenance.
