We're currently seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatchers to join our Emergency Medical Services (EMS) communications team. • Receive and coordinate emergent and non-emergent EMS calls
• Dispatch resources quickly and accurately using a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system
• Record and review calls and radio traffic for quality assurance
• Participate in regular training sessions and team meetings
• Maintain up-to-date inventory of dispatch-related equipment
• Operate communication systems including radios, phones, and recorders
• Support other operational tasks as needed

• Strong logic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication - phone, written, and in-person
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• A proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement

Dispatch Qualifications

• Previous EMS, public safety, or dispatch experience
• EMT or Paramedic experience is a plus
• 2+ years working with two-way radio systems or in a call center
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Dispatch Physical & Mental Requirements

• Sit for extended periods with occasional standing
• Communicate effectively with ambient background noise
• Handle high-stress situations with emotional control
• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Capable of multitasking and using multiple communication devices simultaneously
