Dishwasher, Part-time
Job Preview
The dishwasher holds the responsibility of cleaning all the dishes, glasses, silverware, and cooking supplies for a restaurant. The dishwasher must keep the dish room and dish machine in clean, working order. Through on the job experience, dishwashers gain exposure to other aspects of operating a kitchen and learn job duties for other positions, such as dietary server and cook. The shift during the weekday varies between 6am to 2pm and 4pm to 7pm, with rotating weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the dish station, and support HACCP policies and procedures in the service of Patients, Residents, and Guests. Set up carts with ice water and iced tea.
- Presoak for silverware.
- Tray line with napkins, wrapped silverware, trays, lids for plates, place mats.
- Stage trays for server on the line with tray, napkin, pallet, menu card, silverware.
- Sweep and mop floors.
- Remove trash.
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
- Must have oral and written English communication skills, as well as basic math.
- Must have outstanding customer service skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment.

Physical Demands:
- Be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Able to push / pull delivery carts
- Working Conditions Works in a kitchen environment with exposure to hot foods / utensils, water, and potentially slick conditions. Safety procedures will be followed to limit hazards.
Compensation details: 15 Hourly Wage
