We are seeking a highly motivated and data-driven Director, Talent Attraction, for our Americas headquarters located on Park Avenue in New York City. This is a remote position with required travel on behalf of the company in accordance with business needs. The Director, Talent Attraction, will report to the Vice President, Brokerage Development. You will play a pivotal role in supporting our franchisees by leveraging data analysis and strategic talent attraction and retention initiatives. In this role, you will work closely with the Vice President, Brokerage Development and the broader team to support our franchisees through data-driven talent attraction and retention strategies. You will support franchisees to identify growth opportunities, design and implement actionable strategies, provide executive-level coaching, and support efforts to attract and retain top talent within their brokerage.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Build strong relationships with franchisees and act as a trusted advisor on the following aspects of talent attraction and retention:
Talent Attraction & Retention:
- Support franchisees in identifying and engaging high-performing real estate agents and brokerage teams to drive local recruitment efforts.
- Identify tools, best practices and processes to promote talent retention across the network.
- Utilize data, technology, and market intelligence to develop recruiting strategies that enable the franchise network to effectively enhance their recruiting efforts..
- Support the planning and execution of large-scale, on-site recruitment events, representing the brand and driving alignment for new and existing brokerages.
- Train brokerage leadership on effective recruitment and retention practices, brand messaging and available support resources.
- Make recommendations to franchisees on collaborating with the Academy team, to maximize access to and utilization of brand-supported training and professional development opportunities for agents, brokers, and staff
- Support the team in monitoring and reporting on key metrics associated with all talent attraction efforts.
Presentation & Communication:
- Deliver compelling monthly virtual presentations to both existing License Partners and prospective real estate professionals.
- Present Engel & Völkers' unique value proposition and talent development offerings with confidence, clarity, and professionalism both on camera and in person.
- Possess strong on-camera presence and excellent verbal communication skills to engage virtual audiences and drive interest, action, and alignment.
- Facilitate interactive discussions, webinars, and workshops that inspire and educate broker leadership and prospective talent.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Proven track record in developing recruitment strategies, competitive intelligence.
- Strong business acumen and ability to analyze market data, track trends, and identify growth opportunities.
- Proficient in Google Workspace, project management, and CRM software.
- Knowledge of Market View Broker and Broker Metrics software a plus.
- Ability to travel as needed, up to 30%.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate agent recruiting/retention and/or franchise growth, preferred.
