Job Description

Danfoss is hiring for a Director, Supply Chain Medium Power BU at our Ames, IA facility.

Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for global supply chain performance for the Medium Power business unit across plants, improving on-time delivery while reducing lead times and inventory levels.
  • Continuous improvement and enhancement of the supply chain setup, processes, and systems.
  • Leverage data analytics and supply chain trends for strategic activities.
  • Coordinate with local Supply Chain organizations at the plant level.
  • Facilitate the SIOP process across plants.
  • Drive supply chain improvement activities at the Business Unit and Divisional levels.
  • Work with sales to ensure forecast accuracy.
  • Ensure internal alignment of supply chain processes across plants.
  • Use data analytics to identify trends and recommend strategic initiatives.
    • Background & Skills

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing industries.
    • At least 3 years of experience in project and change management within operations, procurement, and supply chain environments.
