Our client is a fast-growing, innovation-driven food & beverage CPG company with a strong brand presence across the U.S. Known for delivering high-quality, consumer-loved products, the company is scaling rapidly and seeking a Director of Supply Chain to strengthen its operations, improve efficiency, and build a resilient supply chain that keeps pace with growth.
Position Overview:
The Director of Supply Chain will oversee the end-to-end supply chain, including procurement, production planning, inventory, logistics, and distribution. This individual will be responsible for building scalable processes, developing supplier partnerships, and ensuring world-class service levels while driving cost optimization and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize the full supply chain function across sourcing, planning, inventory, and logistics.
- Build and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and sustainability.
- Develop demand planning and forecasting processes to align with sales and production.
- Oversee 3PL, warehousing, and transportation partners to ensure on-time, in-full delivery.
- Drive cost savings initiatives while maintaining high service and product quality.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, Operations, R&D) to align supply chain strategy with business objectives.
- Implement KPIs and metrics to measure supply chain effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Build and mentor a high-performing supply chain team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field (MBA or APICS/CPIM/CSCP certification a plus).
- 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience, including leadership roles in food & beverage or CPG.
- Strong background in sourcing, vendor management, and logistics.
- Experience with 3PL/contract manufacturing partnerships.
- Proven track record of improving supply chain efficiency and cost management in a high-growth environment.
- Knowledge of regulatory and food safety compliance in supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- ERP and supply chain systems experience required (SAP, NetSuite, or similar).
