We are embracing Open-Source technology using Swift, Kotlin, React-Native, React.js to build Web & mobile experiences. In our team, you will work with talented engineers across our platforms including mobile engineers, backend service engineers, UX Designer and product managers to deliver associate experiences through Me@Campus, Me@SamsClub & Me@Walmart mobile app.

What you'll do..
  • Lead the work of small groups of six to ten engineers in software development and design, identifying solutions, reviewing and approving solutions, implementing architectural patterns, and performing design and code reviews.
  • Support the business for new and existing systems by responding to user questions, researching solutions, designing implementations, and guiding users.
  • Troubleshoot business and production issues, perform root cause analysis, develop solutions, and document actions.
  • Provide expertise and guidance in development, execution, and improvement of action plans, supporting efforts to meet customer and business needs.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, identify needs, monitor progress, recognize improvement opportunities, and adapt to organizational changes.
  • Model compliance with company policies, standards of ethics, and support company standards by incorporating these into business plans and practices.
What you'll bring..
  • Over 10+ years of experience in building mobile & desktop user experiences
  • Minimum of 3 years' supervisory experience
  • Deep knowledge of Mobile App Development
  • Experience managing software engineers and leading projects
  • 5+ years of full stack, iOS/Android/ReactNative experience
  • Experience with micro-services architecture and distributed systems
  • Experience in technical design discussions and driving architecture
  • Experience in people management, team growth, and ensuring team productivity and happiness
  • Experience with risk management (technical, product, personnel)
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including QA, Release Management, Program Management, and TechOps
  • Experience in engineering areas like DevOps, Chaos Engineering, SRE, and on-call rotations
Additional Qualification:
  • Experience in Azure cloud architecture, deployments, and understanding of cloud technology including storage, security, and migration
  • Industry experience in developing mobile components or cloud-native backend PaaS

Minimum Qualifications...

  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field and 6 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Option 2: 8 years' experience in software engineering or related area.
  • 3 years' supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications...
  • Optionally, a Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field with 4 years' experience, with a focus on creating accessible digital experiences following WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and inclusive design.
