They work with manufacturers to create supplements and functional foods using plant-based extracts, with a focus on areas like joint health, digestion, metabolism, and general wellness.

Key Responsibilities of the Scientific Affairs Director | Nutrition | Dietary Supplements | USA | Contract | Remote | $110k – 130k FTC

• Develop a deep understanding of portfolio products & broader offerings in the industry
• Translate complex scientific data into clear messaging for internal and external stakeholders
• Support clinical study design and scientific substantiation of product claims
• Guide product innovation and technical support across teams
• Deliver educational content through webinars, presentations, and media
• Monitor industry developments to inform product strategy and compliance

Ideal Candidate for the Scientific Affairs Director | Nutrition | Dietary Supplements | USA | Contract | Remote | $110k – 130k FTC

• Advanced degree in a life science or related field (doctorate preferred)
• 7+ years of experience in the natural health or supplement industry
• Strong grasp of scientific literature, clinical research, and regulatory frameworks
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work onsite as needed
