The Director of Risk Management is responsible for leading system-wide risk management initiatives across our multi-hospital system. This position plays a pivotal role in the culture of safety, excellence in healthcare delivery, and systematic risk mitigation. The Director oversees the Risk Management, Patient Relations and Regulatory Readiness programs, ensuring alignment with healthcare industry standards, organizational goals, and compliance with federal and state healthcare regulations related to patient safety and quality of care. The Director also oversees professional and general liability claims in collaboration with the organization's third-party administrator (TPA), ensuring timely reporting, thorough investigation, and timely submission of claims. This includes analyzing trends, coordinating with legal counsel, and implementing strategies to reduce liability exposure while supporting a culture of safety and accountability.
