Director, Regulatory Advocacy – Job #3655
Do you have a passion for policy? Our association is looking for leader to actively coordinate with regulators, shape state and federal regulatory agendas, offer association members dependable guidance, and improve the environment for credit unions.
Our six-state trade association is looking for a Director, Regulatory Advocacy, to help manage the work with related state and federal regulatory advocacy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for policy, a talent for collaboration, and a focus on improving the operating environment for credit unions.

This position offers the flexibility of working remotely from within one of our regional states (AZ, CO, ID, OR, WA, & WY) or in one of our offices (AZ, CO, ID, OR, & WA).
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
This position requires deep regulatory insight, strong communication, facilitation skills, and the ability to both think strategically and execute. A minimum of 3 years' experience in regulatory affairs, financial services policy, government relations, or a related field. A bachelor's degree in public policy, law, business, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
Salary ranges from $70 – $90k base salary, depending on experience. This position is eligible for a variable pay program with a potential 5% of base salary earnings. Employees (and dependents 50%) are covered by medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and short- and long-term disability. Employees are eligible to enroll in our 401k plan. New employees will accrue 15 days of vacation and 8 days of paid time off. In addition, employees will enjoy eleven paid holidays and two floating holidays.
