Director, R&D - Thermo Fisher Scientific : Job Details

Direct management responsibility for all research and product development activities for the Pharma-analytics BU - Develops the longer-term Innovation Roadmap. Manages and prioritizes the R&D portfolio, including schedules, scope, cost, and risk associated with the full portfolio. Works collaboratively with internal BU functions, such as Product Management, PMO, and Operations to craft and implement R&D strategies and planning. Represents PA to other sites and divisions for cross-site collaborations and projects. Identifies and represents PA externally to commercial or academic partners. Works with and actively scouts for external partners, customers, and scientific experts to explore areas of new content and new technologies. Supports other departments such as manufacturing, technical support, and quality by providing scientific mentorship and assignment of resources to assist in troubleshooting.
