Summary:

The Director of Quality, Compliance and Innovation is responsible for leading all aspects of the quality assessment and performance improvement program for both home health and hospice. The role includes ensuring the program's effectiveness, collaborating with the Leadership Team to set priorities, developing a comprehensive quality and safety strategy across regions, supporting best practice implementation, facilitating skill development among staff, and leading quality improvement and innovation initiatives from ideation to evaluation. The Director serves as an agency-wide expert in improvement science, patient safety, and data science, providing guidance on performance improvement, data analysis, and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making. Additionally, the Director acts as the agency's compliance officer, leads the compliance committee, and promotes a culture of compliance throughout the organization.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a clinical field (e.g., BSN, PT); master's degree preferred.
  • License/Certifications: Current clinical license preferred.
  • Experience: Experience in Quality Management and working with a Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement Program; Home Health experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and Federal and State regulations.
  • Effective communication skills with employees and administration.
  • Strong technical, assessment, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in software applications including Microsoft Office and databases.
