The Opportunity
We are seeking a Director of Project Management to lead the end-to-end execution of competitive development programs, including key assets for our client. You will be central to aligning timelines, deliverables, and strategic priorities across cross-functional teams, while supporting senior leadership with transparency, agility, and confidence. This is a pre-clinical and early stage focused position.
Your Impact
As a Project Manager, you will:
- Drive the planning and seamless execution of high-priority programs from discovery through early development
- Lead cross-functional coordination and ensure clarity on deliverables, milestones, risks, and interdependencies
- Build and manage project timelines, facilitate team meetings, and ensure actions and decisions are clearly documented and followed up
- Support internal communication and awareness across key stakeholder groups
- Contribute to Competitive strategy workshops and help shape best practices in project management
- Maintain awareness of broader company initiatives including clinical development, regulatory, and manufacturing programs relevant to Competitive efforts
- Surface challenges and propose innovative solutions to help teams work more effectively and efficiently
- Represent the program and your work with professionalism, clarity, and strategic insight
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related field (advanced degree a plus)
- 10+ years of relevant experience in biotech/pharma, including drug development and project/program management
- A full understanding of the drug development process and preferably experience across all phases.
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools
- Comfortable in a high-growth, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Strong communicator – clear, concise, and persuasive with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, build trust, and drive results
- Passion for science, operational excellence, and making a difference in patient lives
