The Enterprise Tech Integration Technology Office (ITO) is seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Director to join the team. As a Director of Project Management, you will be positioned to influence transformation initiatives across multiple lines of business. You will partner with lines of business and horizontal Technology teams to help them flawlessly execute their top priorities, lead complex initiatives, and ensure well-managed, timely delivery. You will escalate and gain buy-in from key stakeholders to ensure appropriate execution as part of a high-performing team. This is an exciting opportunity to drive top strategic initiatives across the Enterprise Tech organization.

• Demonstrates a proven track record of excellent program management, with the ability to quickly put structure in place in a dynamic, complex environment
• Drive all phases of project management including feasibility, definition, planning, prioritization, implementation and closeout
• Apply project management methodology and standards, ensuring project documents are complete and up to date
• Demonstrate cross-functional teamwork, communication, negotiation and leadership across all levels
• Partner cross-functionally with key stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to drive project delivery
• Work with cross-functional teams and influence others to achieve common goals
• Create transparency and foster relationships with adjacent teams

• Ability to build a team strategy and effectively lead a team of associates toward top performance
• Understanding of financial systems and technology processes
• Operate strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and make tradeoffs to meet deadlines
• Effective communicator capable of creating clarity among diverse groups
• Analytical and quantitative skills to establish metrics and use data to measure operational efficiency and partnership effectiveness
• Ask tough questions and challenge the status quo

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 7 years of Process, Project, or Program Management experience

• Masters in Business Administration
• 10+ years of Process, Project, or Program Management experience
• 3+ years of Operations experience
• 7+ years of People Management experience
• 2+ years of Learning & Development experience
• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. This information is for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on hours worked. Details will be provided in the offer letter and may vary by location.

• Chicago, IL: $181,800 - $207,500 for Director, Project Management
• McLean, VA: $200,100 - $228,400 for Director, Project Management
• Richmond, VA: $181,800 - $207,500 for Director, Project Management

This role is eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
