Job Summary
The Director of Product Strategy will be a critical leader responsible for developing medium and long-term product strategies to support our product vision for our publisher and advertiser solutions. This role requires deep expertise in the ad tech ecosystem, a keen sense for market dynamics, and the ability to translate complex trends into clear, actionable strategies that drives growth and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Champion Strategy: Work with product leadership to formulate and articulate the long-term product strategy, aligning it with company goals, and anticipating shifts in the ad tech landscape.
- Conduct Market & Data Analysis: Perform in-depth research on the evolving digital advertising ecosystem, leveraging market data, customer insights, and competitive analysis to identify and size new opportunities.
- Identify and Validate Opportunities: Lead the discovery and validation of new product opportunities, including the development of detailed business cases and financial models to support strategic decisions.
- Inform Product Roadmap: Enable product management teams to leverage insights, fueling product development priorities and helping to justify major investments and resources for key strategic initiatives.
- Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with product, product marketing, sales, and other cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and well-aligned strategy across the organization.
- Define Success Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in consulting, product management, product marketing, or strategy, with a significant portion of that time in the ad tech or digital media industry.
- Hands-on knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem, including platforms like DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, ad exchanges, and ad servers.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data and market insights to inform decisions, measure success, identify new opportunities, and develop a clear strategic direction.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills with a track record of influencing cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of defining and executing successful product strategies that have driven significant business growth in a competitive market.
