Responsibilities
Lead credit origination and underwriting of new loans for portfolio clients and manage portfolio relationships within Healthcare CRE and Middle Market industry verticals.Coordinate with Business Unit Head and Relationship Managers on underwriting and closing senior debt financings and credit requests.Collaborate with Relationship Managers on loan structuring, credit terms, and negotiations.Prepare detailed credit approval documents with comprehensive analysis of transactions, clients, industry trends, and risks.Support transaction processes, lead diligence, prepare financial models, and manage transaction closings in accordance with credit policies.Manage an assigned portfolio, monitor financial performance, and proactively assess risks.Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Webster's credit products and build trusted client relationships.Education, Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred.5-10 years experience in commercial banking, finance, or private credit.Bank credit training and experience in Portfolio Management and Underwriting roles.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial statement analysis.Healthcare industry experience.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.Proficiency in MS Office applications.The estimated salary range is $150,000 to $185,000, with potential incentives.
