Director, Partner Marketing Americas -Small, Medium Enterprise & Channels (SME&C SI).With a vision to Build and sell intelligent cloud and intelligent edge solutions with partners, empowering people and organizations to achieve more, Global Channel Partner Sales (GCPS) is responsible for driving revenue outcomes with partners through innovative solutions–at scale! The Global Partner Go-To-Market (GTM), Programs, & Operations (GPO) organization within GPS brings together the go-to-market strategy, programs, and platforms to accelerate growth and improve partner experience across all partner segments.In this role, Director, Partner Marketing Americas: SME&C SI, you will engage across a defined set of Channel partners in your region. You'll develop and execute marketing strategies aligned to business goals and target markets, leveraging Microsoft's tools, best practices, and resources. You'll ensure effective execution, optimize incentives and investments, and adjust plans based on insights and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You'll build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, act as a trusted advisor to partners, and grow your marketing skills, business acumen, and industry knowledge—contributing to your team's and Microsoft's success.Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. - Be a champion for Security within Americas Channel Partner Marketing. Createclarityon Partner Strategy, through the Solution Plays, and support the landing and execution of partner programs, marketing investments and activities.
- Define, land and track the key offerings and calls-to-actions across the Security Solution Plays. Lead the Security monthly business reviews and represent Americas Channel Partner Marketing in regional and global Security business reviews.
- Lead the overall marketing strategy definition, review, and end-to-end execution including campaign development and solution launch plans aligned to partner solutions built for Microsoft cloud
- Lead creation of ‘better together' messaging and marketing content, offers and incentives, as well as joint Public Relations (PR) and event marketing.
- Understand partner's business, plans, and objectives in partnership with global and field Partner Manager personnel and ensure alignment of Go-To-Market (GTM) activities and marketing plans to deliver tangible impact and progress against those goals.
- Ensure measurement KPIs and Objectivves and Key Results (OKRs) are in place to track impact to sales pipeline, Microsoft Cloud revenue generated from joint solutions' sales, campaigns, or offers brought to market. Ensure good budget management practices and high Return on Investment (ROI) for all marketing funds invested.
- Leverage global investments to build a set of globally scalable GTM programs to optimize partner impact.
- Leverage technical and industry expertise to become a thought leader and trusted advisor to your partner.
- Land and lead the creation of new capabilities and opportunities through partner experiences to help provide a competitive advantage and to land key product messages with partners.

QualificationsRequired/minimum qualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 7+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience OR equivalent experience.
- 7+ years experience in a customer and/or partner facing role, dealing with a variety of audiences – customers, partners (ISV, SI, start-ups, MSPs), strategy, marketing, or business development.
- 6+ years experience working directly with partner ecosystem and provide valuable business and technical guidance to them and to secure their commitment to use business solutions.
- Experience with Security technologies and the work that partners do to develop, build-upon, and extend cloud solutions.
- Experience articulating both business and technical value of security services to senior business and technical decision makers.
- Experience creating repeatable best practices on demand generation and awareness campaigns, workshops, metrics, and sales readiness.
- Experience with Storytelling for partners, advocating on their behalf, creating partner experiences, and understanding the linkage between these experiences and business success.
- Experience proposing, creating, and managing executive-level proposals and presentations.
Preferred QualificationsMaster's Degree in Business Administration, or related field AND 6+ years sales, marketing, technology-based, or business development experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Business Development, Business Management, Communications, or related field AND 8+ years sales, marketing, or business development experience OR equivalent experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Security technologies and the work that partners do to develop, build-upon, and extend cloud solutions.
- Product Management and/or audience marketing experience, including modern marketing practices, and advanced skills at writing marketing materials, value propositions, and messaging.
- Experience working in a highly matrixed environment, and leading program v-teams or workstreams aligned to shared goals and measures.
Partner Marketing IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
