The Director, Paid Search will support the business in North America and play an important role in accelerating our online business. This individual will join a team of growth marketers transforming our brand.com business and aiding in developing critical marketing capabilities for ELC.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategic approach and oversee the execution of paid search investment across ELC's NA brand portfolio to accelerate growth, new customer acquisition, brand recognition and channel efficiency.
- Develop paid search portfolio roadmaps to drive new-to-file customer growth at an effective and efficient ROAS.
- Partner with Brand & internal stakeholders to strategize for key marketing moments (product launches, promotions) and ensure a seamless customer experience across touchpoints.
- Analyze performance data to identify growth paths, trends, and optimization opportunities across brands.
- Define and lead implementation of experimentation roadmaps, testing new strategies to update and develop best practices.
- Lead and develop a team of paid search marketers to drive strategy and ensure executional excellence.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and increase returns through automation and AI.
- Oversee the relationship between paid and organic search to identify synergies and optimization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing channel leads for real-time optimizations across the marketing mix.
- Deliver actionable insights from paid search performance to senior stakeholders, tying channel results to macro business goals.
- Serve as a key stakeholder in brands' annual media planning and budget processes.
- Develop macro and tactical media plans with ELC's media agency, modeling scenarios to drive online and omnichannel growth.
- Pivot and optimize plans based on real-time performance.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, primarily in Paid Search.
- Experience with tools such as Skai, SA360, Google Analytics, Looker, and Google Merchant Center is required.
- Excel proficiency (vlookups, pivot tables, data visualization) is preferred.
- Agency experience highly preferred.
- Experience in the retail vertical is a plus but not required.
- Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Strong work ethic and reliability in meeting deadlines and achieving goals.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive problem-solving and ownership mindset.
- Ability to stay organized and productive in a fast-paced environment.
Pay and Benefits
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,550.00 to $208,200.00. Exact salary depends on experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary may vary by geographic location.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a bonus program and a share incentive plan.
