Position Summary

As the Director of Driver Experience, you will define how Drivers engage with the Spark Driver App over the next 3-5 years. You will be responsible for Driver Satisfaction (DSAT), the main KPI for this team. While avoiding defects/issues can help maintain the current state of Driver Experience, it will not lead to significant improvements in the long term. The successful candidate will use data, research, benchmarking, and qualitative feedback to develop a vision that inspires higher Driver Satisfaction and retention.

What you'll do
  • Set the vision and strategy for Driver Satisfaction and overall platform experience
  • Lead a team of program managers focused on various aspects of Driver Experience (e.g., Pickup, Drop-off, App Experience, New Driver Experience)
  • Develop a roadmap of critical features and advocate for prioritization through business cases and leadership discussions
  • Guide deep-dive analysis to identify root causes and solutions, managing execution and reporting results in forums like WBR/MBR/QBR

  • Strong business strategy acumen with measurable KPIs and strategic project identification
  • Analytical skills to diagnose issues using complex datasets and build business cases
  • Expertise in stakeholder management and building effective relationships within a matrixed organization
  • Storytelling skills and experience in creating impactful presentations tailored to audiences

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000 - $220,000, with potential additional bonuses and stock options.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field, plus 5 years' experience in operations, project management, or related area, OR 7 years' experience in these areas. Additionally, 3 years of supervisory experience are required.

Preferred Qualifications

Optional but preferred qualifications include experience working on cross-functional teams, a Master's in Business Administration, and Project Management Professional certification.
