DIRECTOR, OLED MANUFACTURING & SITE SAFETY OFFICEROverviewWe are looking for a director to join our team who will oversee the OLED manufacturing operations located in Rochester, NY. You will help us do that.What You'll Do Every DayYou will lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians in the execution of the manufacture of OLEDs, ensuring production and quality standards are consistently met. You will coordinate efforts with the research and development team to ensure all production runs and desired output according to schedule are met. You will work collaboratively with other Directors and leaders to strategize, set goals, and work towards the achievement of Company objectives.Each day you will collaborate with other directors, managers, and senior leadership to set and assess priorities across teams. You will hold weekly meetings to ensure responsibilities and goals for the week and forward are understood and executed. You will work with the Manager, Fab/OLED Production to ensure they schedule personnel to maximize productivity achievement as well as improve efficiency, and ensure quality, safety, yield, financial, and delivery goals and standards are met. You will identify and share training and employee development opportunities to build and improve skills, as well as retain expert OLED knowledge. A key responsibility of yours will be to provide guidance and oversight in development and execution of Fab and Lab renovations and expansions. You will manage the purchase and or maintenance of equipment and coordinatewith outside contractors and vendors. You are responsible for managing the existing ISO9001 and IATF quality certifications for OLED production, as well as implementing future ISO 14001, 45001, and other quality processes. Overall, you will be a key partner to senior leadership to plan and execute OLED manufacturing in the U.S.Skills You Must BringYou have microelectronics, chemical engineering or other appropriate technical aptitude and education, and you have 10 years of experience. You have previously worked in a fabrication or manufacturing environment and possess an understanding, if not preferred expertise, in OLED and device making as well as organic and inorganic materials knowledge. You have proven ability in managing and developing a team in a manufacturing environment. ISO9001 and Six Sigma certification/designation is also preferred. You have direct experience using an ERP system such as Epicor and have extensive knowledge of company safety policies and applicable OSHA standards. You have strong experimental and data analysis as well as project management skills. You takepride in your accurate and consistent work and like to contribute collaboratively as a team.
