As the Transportation Director, you'll guide a dedicated team of managers, drivers, and support staff to keep their operations running smoothly, safely, and on time. What You'll Do

• Lead and inspire Transportation Managers and their teams, fostering a culture of safety, service excellence, and accountability.
• Oversee daily outbound shipments to customers and other distribution centers, ensuring on-time and accurate deliveries.
• Build, coach, and develop leaders to achieve both short-term goals and long-term strategies.
• Implement process improvements, reduce waste, and introduce new technology to boost efficiency and service quality.
• Partner with other departments to strengthen relationships and drive operational success across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and all regulatory requirements.
• Attract and retain top talent, maintaining the right headcount to meet service demands.
• Resolve delivery challenges with cost-effective, customer-focused solutions.

What You'll Bring

• 7+ years of transportation or delivery management experience.
• Proven leadership skills in developing and managing leaders and large teams.
• Strong knowledge of transportation operations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to interpret operational and financial data to drive performance.
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, people-first mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with route planning and logistics tools.
• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
