Director of Traffic Management - City of Lubbock TX : Job Details

Plan, direct, supervise and coordinate the activities and operations of the Traffic Management Department which is comprised of the Traffic Engineering, Traffic Operations, and Traffic Management Center Divisions. Essential Functions Consult with management personnel to determine short range and long range goals and develop implementation plans to achieve each objective;Perform complex supervisory, administrative and professional work in planning, organizing, directing and supervising the Traffic Management Department, including Professional Engineers, supervisors, administrative and technical personnel in the traffic signal, signs and markings sections, as well as city-wide fiber optic communications system;Lead the Citys fiber optic infrastructure team, developing goals, designs, maintenance plans, and GIS mapping of the Citys fiber optic network;Prepare yearly operations and capital budget for Traffic Engineering and Traffic Operations;Establish Traffic Management policies and...Management, Director, Traffic, Traffic Engineer, Operations
