Position Summary

As the Director of Systems and Continuous Improvement, you will lead the development, implementation, and optimization of processes, systems, and strategies to drive operational excellence at Genuine Foods. This role requires a forward-thinking leader with a strong background in process improvement, technology integration, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement systems to improve operational efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, sales/marketing, support/corporate, etc.) to standardize best practices.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives by identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies across the organization.
  • Oversee the deployment of software tools and platforms to support process automation and data-driven decision-making, including tools for menu/culinary/compliance, field auditing, and point-of-sale.
  • Develop KPIs and performance metrics to monitor progress and measure success.
  • Develop and refine training and curriculum to support staff on system upgrades and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards in all operational processes.
  • Promote a culture of systems thinking, continuous improvement, and accountability within the organization.
  • Participate in the sales process where applicable.
  • Travel approximately 25% (1-2 trips per month).
  • Required Qualifications
    • 7+ years of experience in process improvement, systems implementation, or operations management.
    • Contract food service experience.
    • Experience with compliance and regulations for USDA K-12 Nutrition programs.
    • Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and achieving measurable results.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and enterprise systems.
    • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
    • Experience in the food service, hospitality, or supply chain industry.
    • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
