The Director of Special Events & Protocols is responsible for advancing excellence through effective planning, development and execution of the University's signature events and other President-hosted events. This position works directly with the Office of the President for protocols and events hosted by the President and the office of University Marketing and Communications for all other events and related communications planning.\n\n. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\n. Plans and implements events hosted by the Office of the President, and other key events identified by the Office;\n. Leads managing a three-year rolling calendar for scheduling signature events\n. Collaborates\/consults with the appropriate person for planning and implementing signature events;\n. Creates communications related to these events such as invitations, program design (run of show) and development, and script writing and\/or talking points\n.
