Position Summary

The Director of Site Operations is responsible for overseeing the performance, compliance, and growth of clinical sites across the network. This leader ensures efficient trial execution, regulatory adherence, and strong patient enrollment, while driving operational excellence and financial sustainability. With a focus on women's health and psychiatric research, the Director will mentor staff, optimize resources, and play a key role in strategic planning, forecasting, and business growth

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership for site operations across multiple locations, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance.
  • Drive trial enrollment, retention, and efficiency, particularly in women's health and psychiatry studies.
  • Oversee budgets, forecasting, and financial performance for sites; identify opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure operational success and return on investment.
  • Lead, coach, and develop site managers and coordinators.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning, site expansion, and business development initiatives
  • Partner with sponsors, CROs, and investigators to strengthen relationships and enhance trial delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 9+ years of clinical research experience, including 3–5 years in site or operational leadership.
  • Proven success managing budgets, KPIs, and multi-site operations
  • Experience in women's health and/or psychiatry trials strongly preferred.
  • Strategic thinker with strong financial acumen and operational execution skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
