Base pay range

$170,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr

Our client – a high-growth AI-powered consumer insights SaaS platform – is revolutionizing product strategy and driving success for leading global brands, including Fortune 500 companies such as Nestlé, Mars, PepsiCo, Bacardi, Del Monte, and many more. With ARR approaching $10 million and ambitious plans to double in the near term, the company is expanding its sales leadership team to support its rapid growth.

We are looking for a Director of Sales (U.S.) who will play a pivotal role in accelerating revenue growth across the U.S. market by driving new customer acquisition within both enterprise and mid-market segments. You will lead outbound sales efforts, develop effective go-to-market strategies, and collaborate closely with marketing to maximize pipeline generation. This role requires a proactive sales leader with startup experience, deep SaaS expertise, and the ability to inspire and manage a growing sales team (currently 4 direct reports).

The position will directly report to the Global VP of Sales of the company.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring in-office presence at the NYC office three days a week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive New Business Growth: Develop and execute outbound sales strategies to generate new enterprise and mid-market customers across the U.S.
  • Lead & Manage Sales Team: Oversee a team of 3–4 Account Executives, providing coaching and support to help them meet and exceed targets.
  • Pipeline & Forecast Management: Own pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, and deal progression to achieve revenue goals.
  • Refine Sales Process: Work with the VP of Sales to optimize sales processes, CRM use, and qualification criteria for scalable growth.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to align efforts and ensure customer success.
  • Regional Coverage: Manage sales efforts across the U.S., with consideration for candidates experienced in specific regions

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • MUST: 7+ years in SaaS sales with at least 3 years managing sales teams.
  • MUST: Proven success in high-growth startup environments.
  • MUST: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue targets in B2B SaaS sales consistently.
  • Comfortable managing both complex enterprise sales and mid-market accounts.
  • Strategic yet hands-on, with strong coaching skills and the ability to close deals personally when needed.
  • Strong knowledge of the U.S. SaaS sales landscape
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
