Position Summary:

This position is both a field and office role, primarily reporting from the NYS Sales office in Manhattan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute and deliver sales plans through effective management of sales teams.
  • Create and execute go-to-market strategies.
  • Lead sales teams, including regional managers and key account managers; assess talent, recommend training, and develop skills to drive success.
  • Develop plans and strategies for business development and achieving sales goals.
  • Create a culture of success and continuous business and goal achievement.
  • Implement route-to-market and sales strategies across divisions.
  • Define optimal sales force structure and collaborate with regional managers to implement market strategies.
  • Oversee compensation and incentive programs for sales management.
  • Coordinate corporate sales training programs as needed.
  • Work with VPs and EVP to develop accurate sales forecasts and demand planning by vendor.
  • Manage key customer relationships across markets and channels.
  • Coordinate communication between sales divisions and operational departments.
  • Participate in company inventory management as necessary.
  • Make deliveries in emergency situations as needed.
  • Attend dinners and company functions outside of normal hours as required.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent experience with 1-2 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency as a Power User of Diver.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record is mandatory.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds.
  • Good mathematical skills preferred.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills.
  • Compensation & Benefits:

    Salary range: $150,000 - $175,000. Eligible for health and welfare benefits, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
