Role Overview: Chapel Hill, NC Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 Are you a dedicated and experienced leader in the human services field with a passion for making a meaningful difference? Cambay Healthcare is seeking a dynamic Director of Residential Programs to join our clients team in Chapel Hill, NC. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide leadership, guidance, and support to our residential program staff while ensuring the highest standards of care for our clients. Key Responsibilities: • Lead & Develop Teams: Supervise and support Residential House Managers, providing training, resources, and guidance to ensure they excel in their roles and offer quality care. • Collaborate for Excellence: Partner with the Clinical Director to ensure all clinical documentation, charting, and CARF standards are met, maximizing outcomes for our clients through well-trained staff and high-quality clinical care. • Program Oversight: Regularly assess program performance by meeting with Residential House Managers to ensure financial, programmatic, and outcome goals are consistently met. • Recruitment & Retention: Work alongside HR and the Clinical Director to attract, hire, and retain qualified residential program staff. • Performance Management: Oversee staff performance, providing professional guidance, offering staff counseling when necessary, and supporting decisions on promotions or terminations. • Maximize Program Capacity: Support Residential House Managers in achieving and maintaining full bed utilization with the right clients. • Employee Development: Conduct annual performance evaluations for staff, setting goals for future growth and development. • Supervision Plans: Develop and track Supervision Plans to ensure continuous staff development, maintaining clear documentation and follow-through. • Community Engagement: Represent Freedom House Recovery Center in community boards and meetings, strengthening partnerships and building collaborative relationships with local stakeholders. • Licensing Compliance: Ensure all staff members maintain necessary licenses and certifications, adhering to NC licensing regulations. Qualifications: • Education: Prefer a Master's degree or a BA/BS in a related field (or equivalent experience) within human services. • Experience: At least 4 years of administrative and supervisory experience in counseling, healthcare management, substance abuse, or mental health services, with demonstrated leadership at the director level. • Knowledge: A solid understanding of community resources, advocacy services, and the socio-cultural characteristics of the service population. • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to exercise situational leadership, balancing task management with strategic decision-making. • Compliance: Strong knowledge of the NC Division of MHDDSAS service definitions, regulations, and compliance standards.
