Director of Residential Life - SUNY Downstate Medical Center : Job Details

The Department of Residential Life at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Staff Associate / Director. The Director of Residential Life & Services (RLSD) is responsible for supporting the health, safety, and well-being of residential students and other housing residents. The RLSD oversees the overall student learning and community development within the residence halls. This position supervises an Assistant Director, Staff Assistants, and Resident Assistants, managing approximately 200-250 residents. The RLSD is dedicated to fostering students' personal, interpersonal, and intellectual growth. The RLSD reports to the Senior Associate Vice President of Finance. Duties & Responsibilities The following functions maybe assigned, but are not limited to: Budget/ Financial Management Develop and present the fiscal year Budget in line with SUNY Downstate and SUNY Central guidelines.
