Director of Research Development - Sectr Partners : Job Details

Consultant | Personal Care Contract Manufacturing

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of R&D experience in Color Cosmetics formulation, ideally within Contract Manufacturing. The ideal person will have managed an R&D team of more than 6 people and have a strong understanding of Color cosmetics formulations.

• Directly work with Beauty brands to develop product briefs and capabilities.
• Lead R&D team with formulation improvement and scale up of new products.
• Formulate Color Cosmetics, Emulsions, Powders, and more.
• Manage stability testing, Color Matching, Viscosity, pH testing and Drop testing.
• Collaborate with Regulatory and Quality teams to ensure compliance (FDA, ISO 9001).

• Bachelor\'s degree in Chemistry, Biology or similar (Cosmetics Science preferred).
• 8+ years\' experience in Cosmetics formulation in a lab setting.
• Proven experience in Color Cosmetics and formulation.
• Knowledge in FDA and MoCRA laws.
