Title: Director of Research Development (Tax)

About the client:
Our client is focused on helping businesses by identifying, securing, and managing various tax credits and incentives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the R&D tax practice, overseeing project delivery from scoping through filing.
- Partner with clients to identify qualified research activities and expenses for R&D tax credits.
- Interpret and apply federal and state R&D tax regulations to ensure compliance and maximize benefits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, legal, technical experts) to gather and analyze data.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in R&D tax credit consulting.
- Strong knowledge of Section 41 (R&D tax credit) and related state incentive programs.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple client engagements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
Salary and Other Compensation:
- The annual salary for this position is between $150,000-$200,000 annually, plus bonus. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
