We are seeking a Director of Rehabilitation/Therapy Services to join our team!

Responsible for serving as the Director of all rehabilitation services for the facility. The Director works to fulfill functions of achieving clinical and financial operational goals. Monitors admissions and treatment schedules, assists in marketing, implements facility policy as appropriate, assists in development of new programs, ensures rehab department meets the Joint Commission and CARF accreditation where applicable, as appropriate to the vision of facility. Provides additional administrative supervision and rehabilitation management as established by the Chief Executive Officer/Governing Board.

Required Skills:

• Bachelors Degree required.

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Therapist in the state of employment required.

• Minimum five (5) years of therapy-related experience required.

• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

• Masters Degree in an allied health field preferred.

• Three (3) years management experience preferred.

• Ability to communicate effectively with other team members and with inpatient psychiatric population.

• Ability to remain calm under stress or in emergency situations.

• Ability to interact with people who are under physical and / or emotional stress.

• Ability to project a professional image.

• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.

• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.

• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.

• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
