Health Staff Group provides comprehensive staffing solutions for hospitals and healthcare facilities. They place professionals across disciplines including nursing, rehabilitation therapy, radiology, lab techs, physicians, and more.

We have an opportunity for Rehab Directors (leadership as a PT) to lead hospital-based inpatient/outpatient or outpatient clinics in Brewster, Omak, and Westport, Washington, as well as in Kansas and Minnesota. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure efficient therapy services. You'll also be responsible for developing new programs, maintaining compliance, and providing excellent patient care. We're looking for a dynamic individual with strong leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities – Director of Rehabilitation

  • Supervise, orient, and evaluate staff, volunteers, and students.
  • Ensure optimal staffing levels and departmental efficiency.
  • Manage department budget and monitor compliance with quality assurance protocols.
  • Address staff or departmental deficiencies with corrective action plans.
  • Identify and develop new service programs and market opportunities.
  • Conduct and attend staff meetings, trainings, and audits as needed.
  • Support billing, authorizations, and insurance claims processes.
  • Oversee therapy documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide patient care per discipline-specific standards and evidence-based guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated treatment plans.
  • Foster strong communication with referring providers and internal teams.
  • Monitor equipment needs, supply inventory, and scheduling efficiencies.
  • Promote a service-oriented, cost-effective, and compliant rehab environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Master's (M.A., M.S.) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy
  • Prefer five (5) years of discipline specific therapy experience, including director/manager experience. Prefer experience in managing multi-discipline departments/clinics or exposure to and familiarity with therapy services beyond primary field of experience.
