Compensation: $125k base | Year One OTE ~$185k
We're partnering with one of the fastest-growing talent and consulting firms in North America to hire a Director of Recruitment for their West Coast team. This is an operational leadership role overseeing a team of four recruiters, with a focus on driving results, optimizing processes, and building strong client partnerships across VMS and MSP accounts.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of recruiters supporting major IT staffing accounts
- Ensure roles are assigned, prioritized, and filled with urgency
- Provide training, mentorship, and coaching to elevate recruiter performance
- Drive accountability through metrics, reviews, and goal setting
- Oversee team productivity and recruitment best practices
- Partner with leadership and sales to align recruiting strategies with client needs
- Participate in forecasting, budgeting, and operational planning
- Strategize to overcome challenges and optimize delivery against client expectations
Requirements
- 5+ years of staffing industry experience (must-have)
- Proven track record working on VMS and MSP roles (must-have)
- Demonstrated success in recruiting leadership and team development
- Experience with training, coaching, and performance management
- Strong operational mindset focused on process, productivity, and results
- Consistent job history and career progression
