The Department of Hospital Administration at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Director of Quality & Performance Improvement. Reporting to the AVP of Regulatory Affairs and Patient Safety, the Director of Quality and Performance Improvement is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing activities of quality management and performance improvement in the institution to achieve the hospitals goals in promoting patient safety and improving outcomes in patient care. Key Responsibilities & Duties Plans, organizes, and directs the Performance Improvement Department activities and ensures that the Performance Improvement goals that have been established by the organization's leadership are achieved.
