Director of Public Affairs & Community Service - Hearst Corporation : Job Details

Develop and implement strategies to strengthen community partnerships, programs, and activities that elevate WCVBs role as Bostons Community Leader. Build and nurture relationships with community members, nonprofit organizations, and civic leaders. Serve as the primary liaison between WCVB and all community/public affairs events and partnerships. Maintain consistent visibility at community events, often requiring early morning and evening participation. Supervise the production and direction of the weekly community affairs program City Line. Lead content initiatives for digital platforms highlighting community service efforts. Oversee production and placement of Public Service Announcements (PS - As). Collaborate with internal departments to achieve community engagement goals. Contribute as a key member of WCVBs Editorial Board.
