Robotproof seeks a Director of Production, Experiential to provide leadership and drive the growth of our US experiential production team while executing impactful experiential campaigns. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in experiential production, client leadership, budget and vendor management, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
This role requires experience delivering projects across a range of industry disciplines, including live and virtual events, content production, fabrication, creative, and digital.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Charge: Oversee all aspects of experiential production from the initial brief/pitch stage through delivery, supporting the development of cutting-edge, scalable creative solutions for client briefs and assisting in pitching them.
- Grow and Expand: Lead the recruitment, development and retention of a high-performing production team, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Innovate and Inspire: Produce immersive, impactful brand experiences that leverage emerging technology.
- Engage and Win: Lead high-profile client pitches, strengthen client relationships, and elevate existing accounts through best-in-class production.
- Deliver Excellence: Be accountable for the overall quality and level of executions. Ensure client goals and project timelines are met. Develop detailed plans that ensure seamless event delivery and demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot effectively.
- Collaborate Effectively: Value team members who possess both logical and creative thinking to bring innovative ideas to life.
- Navigate Complex Situations: Effectively manage challenging client conversations, including refining briefs to achieve optimal outcomes and negotiating complex requests.
- Drive Innovation: Continuously research new production methodologies and agency best practices to enhance efficiency and innovation.
- Collaborate Effectively: Work well with team members and clients, and be willing to contribute in various capacities.
- Financial Oversight: Manage departmental budgets, optimize resource allocation, and ensure profitability of experiential production projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum twelve (12) years of progressive experience in experiential production, with a proven track record of leading large-scale, complex projects and driving business growth.
- Proven experience working with major brands and meeting tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing strategic production plans and managing departmental budgets.
- Strong understanding of experiential production, balanced with excellent account/client management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in translating production terminology to clients and stakeholders.
- Strong presentation skills, capable of clearly presenting decks, ideas, challenges, and solutions.
- Experience mentoring team members.
- Extensive network of third-party vendors and partners.
- Proven ability to problem-solve independently and operate with a high degree of ambiguity.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Opportunity Overview:
- Full-time role (Remote)
- Base salary range: $130-150k (based on location/experience)
- New Business Commission
- This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, based on personal and company performance
