Title: Director of Production

Location: North Dakota

Salary: $130,000-$140,000 + bonus.

Summary: The Director of Production oversees the Packaging (Bottling) and Manufacturing (Weighing, Blending, Two-Piece Encapsulation) operations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure departments uphold safety, quality, and efficiency per guidelines (cGMP, NSF, UL, Hala, Organic)
• Develop and implement comprehensive training for all production staff
• Build and use data management systems and forecasting tools for decision-making
• Monitor back orders, forecast, and minimize stock issues; act as a productivity expert
• Set and achieve goals with a focus on continuous improvement and effective team leadership
• Collaborate with various departments to meet customer and internal needs
• Maintain and ensure proper equipment operation
• Manage budgets and execute projects for improved customer experience and cost control
• Direct personnel to meet goals, ensuring job satisfaction and safe work environment
• Oversee production scheduling for balanced productivity and timely delivery
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance and progress
• Participate actively in the Sanitation Team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Management, Engineering, or Operations required
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in management of manufacturing operations in dietary or pharmaceutical industry
• Master's Degree is recommended but not required equivalent combination of education and experience may suffice to perform job responsibilities and duties
