Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement inventory strategies, including analysis, physical inventory planning, roadmaps, and audits to ensure accurate counts.Lead KPI management for inventory accuracy and reporting enterprise financial metrics, designing control measures.Create systems and processes for inventory analysis, improvement, audits, and indirect roles/outcomes.Manage daily/weekly cycle counts, collaborating with Engineering, Finance, Accounting, and Production teams on automation and digital transformation.Establish and execute plans for material presentation, delivery, and management from receipt to shipment.Work cross-functionally with Purchasing and Suppliers to implement Kanbans and lean methods for material management.Optimize storage practices within sites using lean principles.Develop methods supporting inventory forecasting, purchasing, and material control systems.Achieve inventory accuracy targets and identify improvement opportunities.Coordinate production capacity and scheduling activities.Implement best practices for systems supporting machine forecasting, inventory, purchasing, and scheduling.Contribute to organizational KPIs through individual and team efforts.Manage material demand and flow using Kanban and MRP, accommodating forecast fluctuations and business growth.Identify bottlenecks and adjust plans to prevent production delays.Lead strategic programs and projects, including target setting, planning, and team coordination.Manage multiple complex work streams and collaborate across departments.Support continuous improvement initiatives related to key customer and financial metrics, communicating progress and challenges.Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or similar; Master's preferred.Certifications: APICS CPIM, CSCP, MIT CTL, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.Experience: 10+ years in senior roles within large-scale manufacturing supply chain and inventory management.Skills: Proven ability in inventory systems, team leadership, financial acumen, and technology utilization.Core Competencies: Cross-functional leadership, program management, process improvement, change management, communication, and cultural competence.Additional: Willingness to travel (~10-15%) and work with diverse teams.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
