Job Title: Director of Product Design
T-Mobile is seeking a dynamic leader to shape the strategy, vision, and execution of our mobile product experiences. This role involves overseeing a team of Product Designers and Experience Strategists to define customer journeys and design principles that enhance T-Mobile's digital ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on innovation, usability, and collaboration, and will champion customer-centric design across our applications and platforms. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring a high standard for design excellence and a passion for building exceptional customer experiences and high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Define and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for T-Mobile's digital products in collaboration with Product, Retail, and Marketing leaders.Build, mentor, and inspire a team of product designers, experience designers, and strategists.Establish scalable design principles, frameworks, and systems to ensure cohesive customer experiences.Lead the design execution for mobile apps and e-commerce platforms, ensuring seamless customer journeys.Align experience strategies with business objectives and communicate effectively with senior leadership.Measure and optimize the impact of design initiatives on business and customer success metrics.Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in User Experience leadership, including research, design, and strategy.
- 8+ years of experience managing UX teams and creating business value through design.
- BFA or BS in HCI, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or related field; MFA, MS, MBA preferred.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams and influence at senior levels.
- Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with frameworks like OKRs.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence across organizational levels.
- Advanced knowledge of design execution, content management systems, and accessibility standards.

- Salary range: $185,600 - $251,000 with a 25% bonus target.
