Director of Process Engineering - Commonwealth Fusion Systems : Job Details

As a Director of Process Engineering. CFS is designing SPARC, a tokamak able to achieve net energy plasmas. SPARC includes HTS and copper magnets, thermal shields, vessels and plasma facing components, all subject to large operational loads (thermal, electromagnetic, etc) and competing for space. These devices are supported by a plant with process systems that include cryogenic cooling, process utilities, fueling and vacuum systems. In the future, ARC will require molten salt and steam process systems. What you'll do:Lead the CFS Process Engineering team. Hire and develop outstanding process engineers. Work cross functionally with project leaders to understand their process system needs. Plan, organize and manage the work of the team accordingly. Create metrics, and delivery goals for the team.
